It came into being, when a creative designer came across colourful, strong and lightweight material and was immediately inspired to give it a second life in the form of smart and fun-looking accessories.
Bags for fish food recuperated at numerous fish farms in Cambodia are redesigned into shoulder bags, hats, wrappers, toilet bags and pouches.
Coll.part articles are functional and ageless, increase the value of the recycled material and survive seasonal fashion trends. Recycling causes the colours and impressions in the core material to change and also gives the collection its unique identity.
HOW?
It is not only vital, but a basic principle of coll.part to associate creativity with ethical production. The accessories are manufactured in Cambodia by organizations that comply with the criteria of FAIR TRADE, carry out social development projects and only deliver first class finishing quality.
One of the workshops employs women who encounter difficult situations, providing them with professional training and school classes for their children. Another one works with victims of mine fields and polio sufferers.

Coll.part. is the colourful world of Nina Raeber, a creative nomad. Curiosity and a true appetite for discovery have brought her to various places around the globe. In 2003 she founded coll.part in Cambodia. Today she is based in Lausanne, Switzerland.
